The popular ’80s TV police drama “Hill Street Blues” featured an endearing desk sergeant giving a sincere reminder to “let’s be careful out there” at the end of each roll call. He wanted fellow officers to pay attention, watch out for themselves and others, and end the shift the same way they started: safe.
While we don’t have roll call every day at Kennametal where we can remind employees to be safe out there, we share the same mentality through our 100% Safe Philosophy.
