When you need to mill in high-speed, dry machining conditions in steel and stainless steel, you need the new BEYOND grade KCPM20 indexable milling inserts.
KCPM20 is recommended as the ideal grade for stainless steel machining in applications where coolant isn’t used and excellent wear resistance is a must.
We make our BEYOND grades specific to the application for which they’ll be used. Each grade is engineered with a substrate and coating thickness specific to the application. This type of engineering means that with each BEYOND grade you can achieve better productivity in a wider range of applications.
While all new BEYOND inserts are CVD coated, they undergo a process different than conventional CVD coatings, which are under tensile stress. We use a proprietary post-coat treatment on all BEYOND insert surfaces to reduce this stress. This, in turn, means better coating adhesion and less micro-chipping.
The result? More uniform and reliable wear on the cutting edge, better tool life with consistent performance, smoother surfaces, and lower friction. These results enable higher cutting speeds for more productivity.
